The service
League Aid lets an organization — a youth or adult sports league, booster club, sports club, or a club such as fishing, bowling, or hunting — create drops (paid collections and info collections) and polls, share a link, import a roster, and see responses. Parents and members use the link without an account. These terms cover the website, the app, and the optional demo-request text program.
Free for organizations
League Aid is free for an organization. There is no setup fee and no subscription. When someone pays, they also pay a flat platform and processing fee: $0.75 when the order is under $10, $1.50 from $10 through $25, and $2.50 above $25. Polls and other info-only drops have a $0 fee. The fee is shown before payment as “Platform & processing fee.” It is not a percentage of the order.
Payments and Stripe
Paid charges are created on the organization's connected Stripe account. The organization is the merchant of record for what it sells or collects. League Aid receives the flat fee and does not hold the organization's funds. Payouts, Stripe fees beyond that platform fee, and the organization's Stripe agreement are between the organization and Stripe. Connecting Stripe can be skipped until the organization wants to take money. League Aid does not provide a refunds screen; card disputes and refunds are handled in the organization's Stripe account.
Your organization's responsibilities
The organization is responsible for the roster it uploads, the accuracy of what a drop asks people to pay or answer, and for having permission to contact those people. Do not use League Aid to mislead anyone about price, what they are buying, or who receives the money. Public links should be shared with the people they are meant for.
Text message program
Program name: League Aid demo requests. If you check the optional box on the demo form, you agree to receive text messages from League Aid about that demo request. The box is not required. Consent is not a condition of requesting a demo, of using League Aid, or of any purchase.
- Message types: scheduling and follow-up about the demo you asked for.
- Frequency: varies, typically a small number of messages around that request.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- For help by mail, write to League Aid, PO Box 573, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Opting out stops further texts about the demo. It does not delete the request itself. More detail is in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another organization's data, interfere with the service, or submit demo requests by automated means. We may refuse a demo request or close an account that abuses the service.
Disclaimers
League Aid is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we do not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Sales-tax treatment of an organization's sales is that organization's question to settle with its own advisor. A feature described as coming soon, including umpire scheduling, is not part of the service until it is released.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top is the latest revision. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
